Take a picture of one area in your environment. Select an area you would like to critically analyze. Think about current environment and your values about how children learn in that space. Now actually look at the environment. (Think, critically analyze, plan, do, reflect). Pick one specific area (block, writing, dramatic play) and list the values you believe are evident now. What will you change about the space to make your personal values visible /how can that environment be modified to better reflect your values about how children learn? Complete the attached form with pictures of your current classroom and changes you have made, and take an opportunity to reflect on the impact on children’s use of the space.
