The Mentally Healthy Classroom for Very Young Children
There is increasing focus on the rate at which our youngest learners are being expelled from preschool programs. While policy makers debate on how to address the issue of expulsion in the early years, teachers are left to support the diverse needs of the infants, toddlers and preschoolers in their care—including those who exhibit challenging behaviors. In this series, participants will learn about causes and risk factors for challenging behavior as well as relationship-based strategies for teachers and those who work with families.
